With their exiting growth plans underway, the client was able to secure a prime location in the heart of London Bridge. As the Senior designer, I was tasked with delivering a highly flexible, tech-enabled workplace that supported both functionality and storytelling-aligning with their identity as a technology-driven business.
The brief called for more than just a workspace—it needed to reflect the character of its surroundings, including the historic Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, and the vibrancy of the London Bridge area. The building itself, originally constructed in 1934 as the Bridge House Hotel—one of the first-grade railway hotels—inspired a playful design gesture: bespoke booth seating styled after vintage railway carriages, referencing its unique heritage.

To achieve a balanced, welcoming atmosphere, we carefully layered colour, texture, and biophilic elements. These design strategies harmonised with the building’s stunning architectural features: exposed concrete columns, generous natural light, and breathtaking panoramic views across London.
This project merged past and present—celebrating the building’s legacy while creating a forward-thinking, human-centred workplace that supports innovation, collaboration, and wellbeing.
