Nestled in the heart of Greenwich, Nest Coffee shop was designed as a welcoming, contemporary café space that blends comfort, community, and calm. The brief called for a warm, modern interior that could serve as both a daily retreat for locals and an inviting destination for visitors.

The concept centred around a layered, biophilic design approach—celebrating natural materials, organic textures, and greenery throughout. Suspended planting across the ceiling grid brings softness and vitality to the industrial bones of the space, while rich timber flooring, fluted detailing, and marble-effect tables elevate the overall aesthetic.
Seating is thoughtfully zoned to support a variety of user experiences: from casual coffee chats and remote working to more intimate catch-ups. Deep blue banquettes with integrated tables create structure and rhythm along the central axis, enhanced by a contemporary fireplace feature that adds warmth and a subtle sense of luxury. A mix of leather and upholstered chairs in earthy tones adds depth and contrast, encouraging visitors to linger.
The back bar area is clean and well-organised, finished with fluted cladding and globe pendants that tie into the overall design language. Open shelving and curated styling further reinforce the casual sophistication of the space.
This café balances style with function, offering an atmosphere that’s both relaxed and refined—an ideal spot for connection, creativity, and pause in the bustling heart of Greenwich.
